Membership Details and Options

Below are the details to join the Nova Masters Swimming Program.
Details: Members (except Satellite membership) must also join Southern Pacific Masters Swimming (SPMS), which is the local chapter of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). The combined fee is approximately $60 a year, and you can Register Online Here.
If you are a current member of USMS with another team you can pay a $3.00 fee to transfer to Nova. You can download the form here.
Nova Masters Startup Fee: $75
Includes Nova T-Shirt, Swim Cap, & 1st month of dues.
Masters Swimming Rates
Dues are auto billed monthly, quarterly, or yearly. A current Visa or Mastercard is required for membership.
1. Monthly: $75 a month for Irvine residents/$80 non-residents.
2. Quarterly: $210 for 3 months for Irvine residents/$225 for non-residents.
3. Discount Quarterly: $180 for 3 months for Irvine residents/$195 for non-residents.
Eligible for discounts are:
- Seniors (55+) or Under 25
- Multiple family members in Nova on the Masters or competitive age group program
- Soka only swimmers always $180
- Multisports OC quarterly members
5. Yearly: $720 for Irvine residents, and $780 for non-Irvine residents (Available only in January). Includes underwater video analysis session.
6. Swim Pass: $70 for 7 swims (to be used within 3 months).Must also pay lap swim fee to get in to City of Irvine facilities.
7. One Week Visitor Pass: $20
8. Satellite Member: $100/year. Receive the Nova Masters practice via email as well as coaching at meets.
9. Monthly Hold: $10 a month. Continue to get the practices and updates via email while you are taking a break from participating at the coached practices.
Refund Policy & Status Changes
We do not offer refunds on program membership fees. We can put your membership on hold if you need to take time off due to injury or other special circumstances, and you can use up your remaining time when you return to the program before being charged again. The hold status starts from the 1st of the following month from when you ask to be deactivated.
To deactivate or change your membership status please contact the Nova office before the 1st of the month you want to change status by sending an email to info@NovaMasters.com or call 949-338-6682.
Rejoining Nova Masters
If you have formerly been a member of the Nova Masters and want to return to active status drop us an email to billing@novamasters.com and let us know which membership option you would like and what your start date will be.

Remember all Nova Masters swimmers must have a current USMS/SPMA card. You can renew your membership for that here.
If you need to update your membership info including address, phone, email, billing details, drop us a note at the email address above requesting your login info so you can update it online.

I was out of the water for 19 years. Inspired by the 2008 Olympics I found myself back in, competing, seeing some old friends, making new ones and loving the entire process all while getting back into shape. The Nova Masters's coaches are phenomenal. They are knowledgeable and supportive. I'm almost as fast as high-school - but not college. ;)
